Thomas Gas is a Bulk and Cylinder LP Gas distributor located in Aldgate, South Australia, and we have been servicing the Adelaide Hills area and surrounding districts for over 40 years.

Thomas Gas has always been a family owned business started by Adrian and Jean in the late 1960’s. Their family members joined the business along with their valued employees.

Things began in the late 1960’s when we started retailing L.P. Gas cylinders for Esso Australia Ltd as a part time gas agent. By November 1971 it had became a full time business.

Over the last 40 years we have expanded and built the business from the ground up. This has taken us from a small gas supplier with a single cylinder delivery truck to a LP Gas distribution company with a fleet of delivery vehicles, our own Depot including plant and equipment. This is something we are very proud of.

In this time, we have become highly experienced in the Bulk and Cylinder gas distribution, and over this time we have developed a reputation as a reliable local gas supplier with true community values, with friendly and reliable service.

We now cover a wide service area (a radius of roughly 70km from Aldgate), delivering Bulk and Cylinder LP Gas from the Adelaide Metro area, over the Adelaide Hills to Victor Harbor, Goolwa and to Murray Bridge.

We transport our own LP Gas supplies from the manufacturing plants in Whyalla, Port Campbell and occasionally Dandenong to our Aldgate depot for distribution.The best thing about working independently as a family is being your own boss, setting your own standards and meeting your own expectations. We concentrate on delivering the best services without cutting corners or sacrificing quality to our customers in the Adelaide Hills and surrounding areas.
